I am a writer.

My writing experience includes a broad array: brochures, newsletters, a literary criticism master’s thesis, journalistic articles, sermons with sound biblical exegesis, dozens of job descriptions, policies and procedures, poetry, letters for mass distribution for large nonprofits, purpose/vision/mission statements, fiction writing, social media blurbs, organizational by-laws, and even an institutional effectiveness study for a state college.

This breadth of my writing experience follows me into any other position I take on; I believe deeply that there is no better skill to possess than to be able to communicate well with others. Writing, in fact, is merely an exercise in critical thinking, and my ability to think critically about ideas so as to present them clearly to others is a skill that is fully transferable to any leadership, administrative, or managerial role.
